Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

There was also Britter Holly Hardin, b ca. 1829 per York Dist 1850 Census, d. 24 Oct. 1887, married J. Martin Hambright, b. 13 Mar. 1825, d. 18 Oct. 1913. She was called "Briter H Hardin on Antioch Baptist Church membership lists of 1844 & 1848, but in l854 and later she was Briter H. Hambright.
Two women in this family, aunt and niece, were named "Britter Holley." I believe they were named for Britter (Holloday) Wells, wife of John Wells and daughter of Robert Holloway of Orange Co NC. That Robert Holloway named a daughter "Brigett" in his 1770 Will.
