I think you must be related to me if you live in Lewistown area, any how my grandmother always indicated that it was named after a relative perhaps a distant cousin as our line goes back to Lancaster. I'll ask her next time I'm home. I don't have the family info in front of me but her father was Emanuel Shirk Hambright b. 1891, the baby of a large family, his father was Wm Long (I think?) and mother was a Shirk they were farmers in Slim Gut Valley Juniata County, Pa. Our family history has been well researched by a Lee Harper,a second cousin.
