Born Edna Mae Underdown, daughter of Charles "Billy" Wilburn Jr. & Alice Crabtree Underdown in Tennessee. She is the granddaughter of James William & Mattie Hambright Crabtree Jr., and George Kelley & Mary Pierce Underdown Sr. and the Wife of Clyde Henry Haney of Cleveland Tennessee.

Edna was Mamaw Haney to my granson McKinley and the mother of my precious daughter-in-law, Henrietta. Mamaw Edna fought a strong battle with cancer since before McKinley was born. She lived to see him be 2 1/2 yrs old.

She won the race and now has attained her place in glory. She was a strong Christian lady who taught the little ones at her Methodist Church Sunday School, she was soft-spoken and kind lady.

I grieve her passing because my little one will have only memories as we tell him of this wonderful lady.

Pray for her family to be comforted - 3 daughters and a husband.

The family will be receiving friends at the Grissom Funeral Home on Ocoee St in Cleveland TN at noon on Saturday and the funeral will be at 3:00 p.m. there. She will be buried at the Federal cemetery in Chattanooga. (423) 476-8575
