Hans Conrad Hambrecht immigrated in 1738 abroad the ship St. Andrew arriving in Philadelphia on October 27, 1738. Of his family we know of five sons, Johann Adam, Veit, Henrich, Johannes, Friedrich, and one daughter Eva who married Johann Stephen Trinkle. Documentation of the Trinkle family with numerous spelling (especially substituting the "d" for a "t" may be found in the records of the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lancaster, PA.) Of the five sons, nothing more is known of Veit, Henrich died at age 32. Friedrich Hambrecht, or Col. Frederick Hambright as he is more properly known, moved to North Carolina where he became a hero during the battle of King's Mountain during the American Revolution. Johann Adam Hambright and Johannes (John) Hambright remained in Lancaster Co., PA. Adam married Elizabeth Barbara Heil, and I have extensive information on two of their children: George Hambright who married Anna Maria Schindel and Elizabeth Barbara Hambright who married Anna Maria's brother, George Schindel
