Hemrick/Hamrick/Hambrick/Hambright DNA

I am looking for the ancestors of my family who resided in Salisbury, Surry County, North Carolina. The first ancestor that is listed there is Henry Hamrick/Hambrick. He had a son, John H., who moved to Athens, Clarke County, Georgia. John H. started spelling his name Hemrick and he has many descendants who go by that name. The name could even be Hambright.

My brother had his DNA checked and he fits into the category of Ila 33. It has proven that we do no descend from Patrick Hamrick who is buried in Virginia. If anyone can help me discover our line, I would be happy to exchange information with you. I can send a copy of our Paternal Lineage Test.
Thank you,
Margene Hemrick Black
