Sorry to disagree, but the evidence points otherwise. Sarah Hambright eaker died 1826 in Cape Girardeau Co., MO where she wills to her four children, Sarah, Susannah, Frederick and Michael, and then her five stepchildren, John, Peter, Henry, Barbara and,Catharine, children of her husband John Peter Eaker.
For proof of all of this see: The Shoe Cobbler's Kin, a genealogy of The Peter Eaker, sr. Family, Volumes I & II and German Speaking People West of The Catawba River in NC 1750-1800. the documentation is there.
Sarah wasn't born until ca 1768 or after so could not be having children in 1769. Also if she had been of child bearing age in 1769, she would not have been bearing children nearly 40 years later. Susannah, the youngest was b. 1807. The marriage record for John Peter and Sarah lists her name as Sarah Hambright, not Sarah Black if she had been widowed.
