Hello Richard and Joe,

Here is what I have:

Laurent Hamelin dit Bellou & Marie-Madeleine Gariépy

Jean-Bapt. Hamelin & (1) Marie-Anne Cauvet (Ant. & M-Jos. Raux)
.........................................M: Nov. 9-13, 1759 in Grondines, QC
....................................(2) Marie-Charlotte Matte (Nicolas & Rose Gaudin)
.........................................M: Oct. 27, 1761 in Cap Santé, QC

Jean-Bapt. Hamelin & (1) M-Anne Charlotte Biroleau dit Lafleur (Pierre & Jos. Proulx)
.........................................M: June 22, 1790 in St-Eustache, QC
.........................................(source: Jetté & Mar. Cont. P.R. Gagnier)
....................................(2) Marie-Louise Landry (Jn-Bte & Louise Giroux)
..........................................M: Feb. 16, 1797 in St-Eustache, QC
.........................................(Source: Drouin & Mar. Cont. P.R. Gagnier)

Jean-Bapt. Hamelin & Louise Régimbald (widow of Jean Bébard)
....................................M: 1836 in Rigaud, QC

As to the Louise Joly married to a Jean-Baptiste Hamelin (the second one), I have him as follows, and not yet having found his first marriage I don't have him connected yet!:
(source: Drouin only)

Jean-Baptiste Hamelin & (1) Marie-Louise Gaudin (this marriage not found)
.........................................(2) Louise Joly - Apr. 21, 1811 in St-Eustache, QC
.........................................(3) Marguerite Ranger - 1838 in St-Polycarpe, QC

Can one of you gentlemen clarify this for me?

Then..... I have Jean-Baptiste and Joseph, both sons of Jean-Baptiste and Marie-Charlotte Matte married to Biroleau girls but with different parents:

Jean-Baptiste Hamelin
M: June 22, 1790 in St-Eustache, QC
+ Marie-Anne Charlotte Biroleau
(daugh. of Pierre & Jos. Proulx)

and

Joseph Hamelin
M: April 23, 1792 in St-Eustache, Qc
+ Ursule Biroleau
(daugh. of Antoine & M.-Jos. Proulx)

Are Antoine and Pierre the same person? Antoine-Pierre or Pierre-Antoine?
Are these two Biroleau girls related in any way? Can you shed any light on this?

Hope to read you both soon and till then, Good Luck in your continued search!
