Hi Joe,

I realize that I am responding to a listing from 2000, but what the heck!

I'm not sure if this is a connection, but I have an ancester, Odile Hamelin dit Laganiere (b. approx 1840) who died in Holyoke, Mass in 1897. Her death certificate lists her parents as Joseph Hamelin and Marie Langlois. I am still searching for any information on this Joseph Hamelin.

Any info you have would be great!
