Hello Clement,
Well, my line of Hamelin came over from France in the mid to late 1600's. It is surprising to hear of more coming so much later. That is, assuming that there is a connection. You mentioned that you found them in a census in Texas. I have a subscription to Ancestry.com with census images. Would you like me to try a search for you? Do you have access to census info? As far as I know, it doesn't fit into any of my family. Maybe we can see? Oh, one more thing, are you looking for the ancestors in France, or tracing the of the line here? Michelle
