Hi Joanne,
Better late than never. According to what little I have been able to find I have Abram born about 1830. He was a farmer the family was French speaking and R. C. He married Mary McGuire who was born in Ireland .She died and is buried in Campbellford Ont Dec 1 1894 age 62yrs 11 months. They had 11 children according to the 1861-71 census. They also named a son Abram born July 1871 a twin to John. It is also possible that Reed shows up somewhere as a family name. I sure hope this clicks somewhere. Valerie
