I've found some info there re: my great grandmother (Marcelline Bourassa) who married James Phillips, and her sister Zoé Bourassa (who married Israel Gauthier) but am still looking for info re their father François Bourassa, and mother Zoé Bourassa (née Hamelin) and their ancestors. I also found some info that may pertain to your line: Josette Roi-Lapenson (who married Louis-René Hamelin) was born ~1818 in Ste.Scholastique Village, Deux Montagnes, Québec. This is according to the 1891 Canada Census, and Josette Hamelin (née Roi-Lapenson) was a widow aged 73 at the time. Happy searching.... Notify Administrator about this message?
