Hi Tom;

I'm also looking into that family. Seems all the children dispersed after Marie Louise Sauvageau died. Are you related to that family? I'm trying to figure out if Joseph-Marie born in 1783 might be the same as Joseph Hamelin/Emlaw who settled in Amherst Island about 1835 (was probably in Kingston from about 1813 to 1835) and died in Campbellford, Northumbrland County, Ontario between 1861 an 1871.
