Hamman-Gooch of Kershaw, SC c1800s

I am trying to identify a man named "Hamman" who was the son-in-law of a Mr. Gooch of Kershaw Co., SC. These families lived in this region before the Civil War. I believe Mr. Gooch is a descendant of Billy Gosling Gooch, can anyone confirm this.
