My Grandfather Tom served in the US Navy during WWII. He was a radioman, and may have been one of the first UDT members. After the war, Tom held a number of jobs among these was trucking business. Tom also worked as a county surveyor for a time in Oklahoma. Nelda also owned her own Beauty salon for a time while Tom worked as a Conductor on the Missouri Pacific Railroad in Baytown, Texas. Tom worked for 10 years on the railroad before he died in his sleep at the age of forty-seven. Tome liked hunting, scuba diving, and riding motorcycles. I never met my grandfather but knew both his brother Stan, and Paul. Stan died when I was in High School. Paul served on Submarines in WWII, and died last year in Arkansas. Tomís son, (my Uncle) is named Tom R. Hamman. He currently lives in Dallas, Texas. Stan Hamman has a few sons that survived him. I hope this information helps.
