George and Susanna Hamman were children of Johannes Hamman and wife, Maria Wildanger, who married at the Tohickon Church in Bucks Co. PA in 1760, lived in Loudoun County from about 1767 to 1785 and then moved to Shenandoah Co. VA,where John died in 1805/6.
According to estate records his children were:
Eva Margaretha, b. Jan. 1761, died young.
Anna Maria, b. c. 1763, m. Solomon Kesner.
Maria Margaretha, m. Leonard Coffman.
Elizabeth, m. Christian Shriver.
John, b. Apr. 1770, d. 1854 in OHio.
Thomas, b. 1772, d. 1840s , in Tenn.
Susannah, b. c. 1776,m. James Neer.
Catherine, b. c. 1778, m. Nicholas O'Neal.
George, b. Aug. 1780, d. 1871, Ohio.
Barbara, b. May 1783, m. Fred. Fansler.
Judith, b. c. 1785, m. Chas. Whitehead.

Johannes was born in PA about 1738, son of Thomas and Susanna Hammann who emigrated from village of Lachen in the Palatinate to PA in 1730.
