My GG Grandfather is Jacob Hampel. He came to the US from Germany is late 1800's. Married Catherine Gerlach and they had several children. Daughter Catherine died in Nov 1927. If this is the same family line, I'd love to share information and learn more about the Hampel line. My father is an only child, and his father was an only son so finding Hampels that are related is tough!
