I, have a copy of Caswell County, North Carolina Will Book 1777-1814. January Court 1786 Page 98 Darby Henley- Will-w 23 Aug 1784. Sons Edmund, James Dunbar Henley; daughter Lettice; son Darby; grandson Abner Henley, son of James Dunbar Henley; daughter Ann.
Exec: sons Edmund and James. Wit: Loyd Vanhook, Wilson Vermillion, Edmd. Roberts.
Codicil 6 Nov 1785: in law Lettice.
This is how it appear in the Will Book.
Did Darby change his last to Handlon?
In October 1815, I also have a copy of land sell from Samuel Ber?? to Darby and Besty Handlon. The land was in Shelby County, Kentucky, but Darby and Besty was from Indiana.
I have a copy of Mary Jane Scott Handlon death certificate, she die at Solon, In. ( was later name Hibernia). She buried at Hibernia Cemetery.
I have about 300 pages of informations that contains marriages, deaths, births and wills, that was given to me from Joyce Dresselhaus.
Can you add anything to Jeremiah Dary Handlon.
