ADAM HANDFORDE LONDON (d.1391)
Request any informaton concerning Adam Hanforde who livedUpper Thames Street, on River Thames, in St. Benet's Wharf in 14th c. Adam's will was proved in City of London in 1391. He is probably ancestor of Hanford of Woolas Hall, Worcestershire, and of the Handforde merchant tailors of London. Was he first generation to London and is so from where did he come? This is the first time I have found the given name Adam in Han(d)ford pedigree. Any other Adam Hanford found in England in th 13th-14th c. would interest me. Bill
