I'm very interested in hearing about the Frederick Cp. Md. Hankey's. Just found the 1880 census that finally gives me the names of Anna E, Hankey (age 3 )m. Calvin Knox, in Oh. This line has stopped mr for years, so this has been a break through for me. Would you'r info happen to have them in it? 1880 Frederick Co. Weverton---John 40, b. Md. parents born in Md; Jane 30, b. Va. parents Va; Louisa C. 18, b. Ill; Margaret E. 16, b. Md; Alice V. 13, b. W.Va; John H. 19, b. Md; Anna E. 3, b. Md (supposed to have been b. 18 Jul 1877 in Hagerstown); Lucy 1 b. Md. Looks like this John may have gone west, early. Maybe met his wife & married her on his way through Va. After getting to Ill. they returned after there first child was born. Maybe they were visiting her people, when the 3th was born. Jane may have been a Lancaster. One person has that, but have been unable to contact her. Would you happen to know anything about this family? I will greatly apprecate any help that can be given to me. Thabk you Lois loiswallace@charter.net Notify Administrator about this message?
