Searching for information on Robert Hanning, born Robert Hannan, in Scotland, son of Robert S. Hannan. Emigrated with his family to Orleans Co., NY @1870. Eventually changed his name to Hanning (WHY ???) and settled in OR, where he was a farmer. Brothers John and William Hannan lived near Portland. Sisters Jennie, Agnes, and Jessie in OR also. Was apparently not considered part of the family after the name change.
