Jolon, sorry but your e-mail got deleted by accident before I could respond. I found the Canadian Hainings by doing a search on Rootsweb Worldconnect site. It seems as though the origional one I found is no longer there however, I checked again last night and found one line that was from New Brunswick. I did have this data that I wrote down from before: Alexander HAINING b. 1750 in Scotland, d. 3 March 1839 in Nether Hoggs Dumfries; mother name unknown b. 1754 in Scotland. Their child William Haining b. 1791 in Scotland, married Mary PARK b. 1790 in Scotland, in 1810. They had the following children: Ann b. 10 Jun 1811 in Torthorwald; Mary b. 20 March 1814 spouses were Alex HALLIDAY and David BELL b. 1810 in Torthorwald, m. 1836?; Janet Haining b. 14 FEB 1816 in Torthorwald; James Haining b. 31 may 1820 in Torthorwald; Alexander Robert Haining b. 26 JAN 1822 in Wath, Dumfries, m. Agnes BRYDEN. Alexander then went to Canada where he had the following children: Mary Haining b. 1845 Toronto, Canada d. 1845 or 1846 in Canada. Esther Mary Haining b. 10 April 1849 in Toronto d. 4 December 1918 in Stapleton Nebraska, Spouse: Albert HANSBURY. Again, I just wrote this down from another site as it had Hainings in it, I don't know the validity. Check the site I mentioned above and you should find the New Brunswick line. Good luck, Gene
