My maiden name was Hanning; however, my Hannings came from Bavaria. I also live in Washington State, and for many years lived in Wenatchee, Washington (center of state). I attended the Sunnyslope Community Church there, and while wondering the cemetery one day, came upon a Robert Hanning with some kind of military reference (can't recall right off what it said). I believe the date was about 1942 on the headstone. Could this have been one of your Washington Hannings? If so, let me know, and the next time I am there, I shall snap a photo for you.

Linda
