I don't have a clue who John McAllister is, and there are two websites; and have listings of such name 241 and 337 times, respectively. The latter website only covers Ireland. God know how many John McAllisters existed in the whole British isles. It's interesting to note that there is a town by the name of Henrietta, south of Rochester.

There is a possibility that Kathleen Hanratty might be able to assist you in your search. Her address is She has a database of Hanrattys using different spelling that includes Henretty, Henrietta, Henretta, etc. It's been over a year since I've heard from her. Thus, she might have more information for you than what she had given me. Let me know how you come out and keep in touch. Good luck.
