Bob,
In the Ellis Island records, I came across Patrick Hanratty who, along with Hannah Hanratty, on September 4, 1907, returned to Rochester, NY. Apparently, they were U.S. citizens and lived at 175 Brown Street. Their ages, respectively, were 28 and 26 years. Then, I went to the family search website and looked for Patrick in Louth. Assuming that he was born around 1878 or 1879, there was one Patrick who was born 1878 in Dundalk. Is there a connection?
I hope you have had some successes with Kathleen Hanratty as she has quite a database on the Hanrattys. Let me know what you come up with. Take care.
