John
I read your message about Hanrattys located in Ireland. Of particular interest was that you had located a Martin Hanratty in Castleblaney who did Hanratty research. You will see in this forum that in 2001 I was looking for a Michael Hanratty from somewhere near Newry who moved to Liverpool with his wife Nancy Flannagan, they had four sones that I am aware of. I have visited Castleblaney and looked around the graveyards and found a number of Hanrattys but after years of searching I cannot find what townland my Hanratty's came from. Hence I am interested in contacting Martin Hanratty to see if he can help me or anyone else you recommend who has good lists on Hanrattys in Ireland of the 1830 - 1860 era My hanratty family settled in Liverpool, UK.
Frank
