My line basically goes from my Grandfather Lawrence Hanratty to my Dad David Hanratty and Thence to me and My kids Pat and Ben.
I'm interested in trying to plug my granddad Lawrence into any existing work that's already been done.
However my dad is very very sketchy about granddad. Apparently granddad's father married twice and produced 21 children!
He came over from Drogheda Co. Louth in 1918 with his wife Christina (born on Christmas day) and settles in Liverpool where he worked all his life on
the docks there. As did my father. David and Josie still live in Liverpool - used to be Bootle but they moved in 1970 to Crosby (slightly
up the coast).
Of their four siblings I now live in Chester, Cheshire.
Gill (my twin) lives in on the other side of the river Mersey from Liverpool.
Tony is a contractor and lives all over the UK
David lives in Cheshire too in a village called Norley but works Mon to Fri in Dublin.

I hope this is of use to you if you've ever heard of us but not had any detail.
Better than that do you know of the lineage of Lawrence and how it travels back from 1895 in Co Louth?

Please get in touch if you know where I should be looking to flesh this out!

All the best

Andy Hanratty
