Jim,

What town or townland in County Armagh did they come from? My family came from the townland of Rathkeelan in Crossmaglen. You did not mention the names of Patrick other brothers. I'm trying to find information about my great uncle, Owen Hanratty, who lived in NYC during the 1890's, and took his family back to Crossmaglen in the 1900's. He was a blacksmith before he died in 1908. Subsequently, one of his sons brought his mother and sisters back to NYC after the Great War (WWI). His brother, Hugh, married my aunt, Rose (Cissie)Hanratty, who was the sister of my father, Felix Hanratty. They were all first cousins, an apparent commonality among the Hanratty clan. I would like to help you but you got to be specific. Take care. Hope to hear from you.

Jack Hanratty
