I have been looking for the same person indirectly - he is my wifes uncle - My wifes mother was his sister Maisie teresa - sadly my wife lost lost contact with her mother over 37 ago and it is her we are actually trying to trace - I was investigating her mothers ancestory when I came across your message

My wife was staying with Micheal and Polly in their shop in Ballyshannon Donegal when Polly sadly died - my wife was about 9 or 10 at the time - My wife returned to Birmingahm with her parents who eventually seperated when she was 12 -We only learnt of the whereabouts of Uncle Michael through Polly's sister who lived in Ballyshannon some years ago now. All we were told was that Michael had left the town and moved to Nottingham were he married again.
