I'm not sure that your email was directed to me or to John Bohnert, but I'm interested. My great grandfather, Felix Hanratty, was born about 1820 in Crossmaglen. He was married to Ellen McShane, and one of their siblings was my grandmother, Mary, who married my grandfather, James Hanratty. As you know, the name of Mary was used a lot in my family. My great granduncle, John Hanratty, emigrated to Gateshead-upon-Tyne. He was born about 1853.
I would like some information from you as I 'm trying to fill in the gaps in my family tree. Hope to hear from you.
