Brooklyn standard Union october 31, 1906. MICHAEL J. HANSBURY Heart trouble was the cause of death of Michael J. HANSBURY, SR., a well-known retired, contractor, on Monday at his home, 178 Warren street. He was one of the oldest settler of the old Sixth Ward. He came from Ireland, his native land when he was about nineteen years old. He was
seventy years old and for many years was an active member of the Sixth Ward Democratic Club. He retired from business fifteen years ago. He was a member of St. Peter's Church, Hicks and Warren streets. HANSBURY is
survived by four daughters, Mary, Helen, Julia and Catherine and four sons, Michael J. Jr., Richard, William and Joseph and seven grandchildren. The funeral will be held from his late home on Friday morning thence to St.
Peter's Church. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery under the direction of Undertaker John FAGAN of Columbia street.
