I am excited that I found a desendant of David Hanselman. I have his diary that dates from January 28, 1855 through Feb 28 1869. I got it in a box of things at an Auction in Wichita, Kansas. It was part of an estate sale from Burrton, Kansas. It doesn't have a lot of family detail although it has one entry that refers to a Masonic meeting. The book is not in great shape it smells like it has been through a fire and the cover is missing. But I thought you might like to have something that was your great-grandfather's.

It has a cure for smallpox in it as well as several other home remedys.

It you are interested in this book please email me directly with your mailing address.
