I see Indiana's Steuben Co. seems to figure prominently on this forum and wonder if anyone might be familiar with Eliza Ann who was born in OH about 1841. She's a 19-year-old newlywed in the 1860 census, living in Lagrange Co., IN with my grandfather's uncle, James C. Brown. She has her first child in Branch Co., MI where the couple is living when her husband joins the 12th Indiana Cavalry. They've had two more kids when the 1870 census catches them living near Angola in Jackson twp, Steuben Co., IN. Later, she and her husband take their family to Charles Mix Co., SD.
