I am researching the Hanselman family name. And the information I have on the one I'm researching for is he was born in 1835 (?) in Germany. I next show that he joined the civil war effort in 1862 in Ohio mustard out in 1865 in Texas came up into Illinois (at somepoint) and married Mary Jane Spear and lived in southern Ill. I can't seem to fill any of the blanks in. There is also a possibility he was married before MJ, to a Barbara Clofer. HELP... smile.... thanks
