Most of the Indiana, some of the Ohio, and some of the WV and even Delaware Co., PA family used the Hanaway spelling. The rest of the Pennsylvanians and the Marylanders used the shorter version. (Most of the, unrelated, Irish use either Hanaway or Hannaway.)

While I have much of the Fairfield info, and am getting more from a Hanaway still iin the area, I have no descendants for Tillitha's grandsons, William Garfield Hanaway or Charles B. Hanaway. If you have anythuiing about their families would appreciate it.

Sorry we don't seem to be blood-related.
