Does the name Iva Schendel mean anything to you? She was the daughter of Chester Harder who moved from Pontiac, Illinois to, I believe Oregon, in the early 1900's. Chester and is wife could have went to Washington or had children that went up there. Hope this makes some sense to you as it would help me too.
