We're just starting to research the Harder side of our family tree. My husband's great great grandfather, Heinrich Harder was born in Russia on August 22, 1869. Sometime before his marriage on July 7, 1896, he moved to Manitoba, Canada. He died in 1941. His wife's name was Catharina. She was born on May 2, 1879 in Manitoba. She died on April 7, 1920. They had quite a few children; John, Helen, Margaret, Jacob, Henry, Catherine, Mary, Cornelius, Annie, Justina, and Agatha.

We are part of Henry's line. Henry was born on April 29, 1904 in Plum Coulee, Manitoba. He was married on Dec 15, 1925 at his bride's parents house, Catherine (aka Tena.) She was born on June 25, 1903 in Reinthal, Manitoba. She died June 28, 1955. And Henry died May 24, 1966. They spent time in Carstairs, Alberta; Calgary, Alberta; Westward Ho, Alberta; and on a farm east of Carstairs. They had 5 children who were all taught German at home. Edna, Alvin, Leonard, Norman, and Ermaline.

If anyone has any information about any of these people, please contact us. sedore@ cadvision.com

Thank you,
Darren and Kristin Sedore
Thanks,
Kristin and Darren
