James Harder-1870s

Hello good Harder Family.

While going through the ephemera from a closed art and printing shop, I came across an old photo reproduction from a New York historical society (which society, I do not know) that says "Another view of Albany Paper Mill. Built in 1870, was owned by James Harder family. Produced wrapping paper and tissue. Normanskill Creek directly behind building."

There is a man standing in the foreground of the photo that one man only presume is James Harder. In the background are a large number of people, at work at the paper mill.

If anyone has an interest in this photo, please send me an email and I'll gladly arrange to forward it along on its way, back to its family-of-origin.

Take good care,

Linda Talley
