Thomas Hargis in Civil War

I recently went to Camp Moore, a training camp for the Civil War, in Louisiana. There is a Thomas Hargis buried there. Does anyone have his genealogy? I am trying to see if I have a link to him. I join up with the Hargis' way back and have not followed all of the lines forward.
