My husband and I went to the Camp Moore in Louisiana. It was a training camp in the Civil War. In the cemetery was a Hargis. Since that was a family name, thought that I would check to see if he was a relative.
I join the Hargis line when Jean Hargis married Job Blackard on January 31, 1792. I have some genealogy back from her but not from her down to me.
