There is a Henry C Hargis that was a son of Phillip Burch Hargis and Marion Fincher. He was born in Shelby County, Tennessee. He is found in Shelby in 1850 and in Conway County, Arkansas in 1860. I have a death date of Dec 1863 though. He had four brothers that can't be found in the 1870 census. The brothers were Phillip Parks(served in I also), Jonathan Alex, Michajah F.(died at Prairie Grove), Milledge, and George.
