I'm looking for any information out there about William Harkins, born in South Carolina in 1790. He married Nancy Ann Stell and eventually settled in Houston Co., Texas. Their son, James W. Harkins, was born in Georgia in 1819 and married Mary Ann Bledsoe. They had a John B. Harkins. I'm mostly looking for William Harkins' parents, but any additional info would be GREATLY appreciated.
