I found a HANNAH HARKINS born 1796 married to WYATT JONES born 1796 Buncombe - I really can't help much further but perhaps it is a clue -
I am SPECULATING that the following are their children - remember - PURE SPECULATION -
Stephen Francis Jones - b 06 Aug 1822 - Buncombe, North Carolina - died 12 May 1903 Jones Farm,Sage,Burnet County, Texas - married Martha Alice Bible 06 Aug 1847 in Cocke County,Tennessee (This is my line, Stephen's parents have NOT been confirmed - - nor the children connected to them -
THIS IS MY SPECULATION)
Marvel Jones - 1827
William Jones - 1830
Wiley Jones - 1842
PLEASE REMEMBER THAT I AM ONLY GUESSING AT THIS FAMILY!
You may be able to find information in Greene, Cooke County, TN. At least Marvel and Wiley went to Cooke County Tn. I have nothing on this HANNA HARKINS - Hope it helps some - STEPHEN and MARTHA went to Texas I believe off hand around 1870. Have not explored HARKINS
