William & Jean HARLEY - Lanark. Scotland.

Seeking descendants of William & Jean (nee Carsewell) Harley who, according to the 1881 Census were living in New Monkland, Lanark. William & Jean married in 188? and had the following children: -
1. William, born 1887, who married in 1916, Annie Jones of Bristol. William & Annie had seven children.
2. Elizabeth (Betty) occupation - Nursing Sister.
3. Jean who married ? Doyle.
4. Margaret who married Peter Skinner - occupation believed to have been a Director of the National Cash Register Company.
5. Robert, the youngest son, occupation Stoker on Train. Family story is that Robert was killed when train was going through a tunnel.
Other sons included John, James and Alec.
