Hi Marilyn,

I am very curious about your query because my great grandfather John Harley was engaged to a Lizzy Wriggle. John was born in 1861 at Elk Mound Wisconsin to Fredrick Harley and his wife Anna Katherine Ausman. They had spent time in Pennsylvania after arriving From Germany with their families. In 1860 they traveled with many other Germans to Western Wisconsin. We have an engagment picture of John Harley and Lizzy Wriggle, they never did marry I am not sure quite why. Lizzy looked quite frail for the women of her time I don't know what happened to her. John married Jane Nelson instead, she was my great grandmother.

Roxanne
