My gggrandfather was George Harley. He was born in VA but moved to KY at early age, about the turn of the eighteenth century, Lived in Henry, Trimble and perhaps Washington Counties, then moved to Hancock Co. between 1850 and 1860, where he died. I don't have a great deal of informatio on his parentage. We think he was brother to Leonard Harley of Trimble and Washington Counties in KY. They arrived from VA at about the same time. George was blind--probably in the war of 1812. I don't have any record of Narcissa in my records but that doesn't mean she wasn't in this family. Will look at my resources and see if I have anything on James Henry Bowman. The name doesn't ring a bell.
