Becky, I realize that this is an old post but I found it interesting, as, I,too, am interested in the Shakespeare family. I thought you might be interested in this site:

Shakespeare wrote of Reverend Buck's historic shipwreck in Bermuda before coming to VA. Shakespeare's daughter married Thomas Quiney whose brother Richard had land holdings in the area of Colonial Virginia where Richard Adkins lived.
I am descended from Nancy Adkins, d/o of Mary and Jacob Harley. We are descended from John Rolfe, through his second marriage to Jane Pierce then through the Milner and Pew family. Lots of deeds and wills connect these families~Linda
