Dear jo,

My father in law changed his name by deed pole in 1940. Florence Harley wife of JOHN HENRY HARLEY of CHETWYND HOUSE 106 TRYSULL ROAD WOLVERHAMPTON stood witness for him, stating that she had known him for 18 years by then.
As he had run away from home at 14 years of age, in 1928...this would answer many questions for us .........
