The Ringling Eagle
Ringling, Jefferson County, Oklahoma

Thursday, January 9, 1930

Sunday afternoon, January 5, MARVIN HARLEY and MISS WINNIE V. SHOEMAKER, both of Weatherford, Texas, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. HULON HARLEY of Jacksboro, Texas, motored to Ringling where they secured a license and were married about 7:00 p.m. with REV. H. B. WILSON, pastor of the Ringling First Methodist church, reading the vows. After the ceremony, they were all served with a luncheon at the home of Mr. and Mrs. JAMES HARLEY of this city. The bride and groom are both well known in Weatherford, where Mr. Harley is in the grocery business. They will make their home in East Weatherford where the groom’s parents have presented them with a new home.
