"Thomas Raysor" may be "Thomas Rayton" Harley. Maybe you can help us in SC piece together some of our Harley line.
Walter T. (Timothy) Harley had a brother named John B. Harley b 1828 that it is said "he moved to Alabama". Don't know the year but his wife was Emmoline Bullock. They had children: George Asbury and Irvin Sylvanus Harley. There may be more, not sure.
A researcher in George Asbury Harley's line stated that her g-great grandfather "John B. Harley went to Al with two other men."
Now I have John B. Harley b 1828 gone to Al---
Then there's his great nephew, your line, Thomas Raysor (or Rayton) b ??(son of Walter Beauregard, son of Walter Timothy b 1828, brother of John B. Harley)also gone to Al---
And my Archie Beauregard Harley b 28 Feb 1884 (son of William Daniel Harley who is a brother to your Walter Beaugard, son of Walter Timothy, brother of John B. Harley)reportly gone to Al---
I hope I got this all right and haven't confused you. Really hope you get this and reply.
By the way -- John B. and Walter Timothy were sons of William Allen Deas Harley and Elizabeth Livingston and William was related to the Harleys that Harleyville, SC is named after.
