Hi, Great to hear from you. I've got good sources for more detail, but wanted to respond with what I know for now.

We have reason to believe that Thomas (my GF) was actually named simply Tom. His middle name was definitely either Raysor or Razor. Most people called him T.R. Tom's mother died giving birth to him.

Tom had a sister named Lillah Bell Harley b 1886 and another named Mary Elizabeth "Lizzie" in addition to his brother John L Harley.

I think the reason Walter B. Harley moved to Alabama was land. He apparently had lots of it. If further research on land holdings is done it should concentrate on Boston, Alabama and Gantt, Alabama. He gave each child 1/3 of the land. Tom had to sell his share during the Depression.

Our family has fond memories of Gantt.
